Pierre Tessier

Pierre Tessier joined Desjardins in 2018. He has been working in the field of financing, investments and management for over 18 years. Before joining Desjardins, he was the Vice-President, Specialized Financing and Tax Measures at Investissement Québec, where he took the lead on a number of major transactions in Quebec and abroad. As Vice-President, Investments, Pierre develops and implements investment solutions in his sector while managing a team of 12 professionals. They make sure they understand well the issues and needs of Quebec entrepreneurs so they can deliver the best financing solutions for their partner businesses. As part of his duties, Pierre provides guidance to Desjardins Capital’s investment managers.

Qualifications

Pierre has a bachelor’s degree in administration from Université Laval and is a member of Québec’s CPA order, Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés (CPA) du Québec.
