Before joining Desjardins Capital, Jocelin Vincent worked at the Business Development Bank of Canada for 20 years, occupying various positions, including Assistant Vice-President, Credit Risk Management, and Manager of the Business Centre.

He has earned a solid reputation working on a number of entrepreneurial investments, designing custom financing packages for businesses in the manufacturing, distribution and automotive sectors, among others.

Jocelin has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on finance from Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.

What great business story inspires you?
I love stories about entrepreneurs. The idea that leads to an invention, the unexpected twists that change the company’s business model, the lucky breaks, the opportunities seized along the way and the people who get back up after a fall—all that inspires me. An entrepreneur’s path is often full of obstacles and surprises. The determination and effort it takes to turn a dream into a reality will always be a source of inspiration for me.
