Claude Delâge

Claude Delâge is a senior investment manager with Desjardins Capital and is in charge of the rollout of the Desjardins Capital Transatlantic Fund in Paris.

As part of the partnership between Siparex and Desjardins Capital, Claude supports businesses looking to develop new markets abroad, including French companies eyeing North America and Quebec businesses targeting Europe.

She joined Desjardins in 2012 as a senior investment manager before becoming Associate Vice-President, Business Development. Since 2017, Claude has held the position of Vice-President, Business Outreach, and coordinates market development and visibility for the fund manager and all managed funds. In addition to overseeing communications, she supported investment teams by providing them with the strategic tools they need for business development and to support entrepreneurs.

She has a robust business network of professionals in a range of areas of expertise and possesses solid experience as a corporate director. Qualifications and achievements

Until September 2018, Claude was a member of both the board of directors and management committee of Centraide of Greater Montreal and chair of Centraide’s Allocations and Agency Relations Committee (AARC). She also sat on the board of directors of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).

What would an entrepreneur say about you?

They would say that I'm a woman who is driven and committed and that I’m bold and open to new ideas. That I love what I do and I'm always helping entrepreneurs grow and tackle new opportunities. That I try to help them by introducing innovative new ideas and exciting challenges.

What great business story inspires you?

I can’t narrow it down to one business story that inspires me most. I find many businesses inspiring and all their stories admirable. I am especially drawn to businesses headed up by strong leaders with a clear long-term vision, passion, strong communication skills and a proven ability to manage their resources effectively.
