Laurent Simoneau appointed to the Boad of Directors of Qohash inc.
A technology entrepreneur from Québec City, Laurent Simoneau is co-founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of Coveo. Highly skilled in tech-based growth strategies, he is considered one of the industry’s top enterprise search experts.
Qohash specializes in the field of information asset security and offers essential risk management solutions for the corporate context. The Qostodian platform provides clear management of assets, their optimization, their protection under an integrity assurance program, an understanding of its value for business and effective management of associated risks. The company employs about 15 employees specialized in cybersecurity, governance and analytical method.
Diane Martin appointed to the Advisory Board of Investissement Groupe Champlain
Diane Martin has nearly 20 years’ experience in senior management, and was instrumental in driving growth at Groupe Sélection, where she filled several key roles. Diane has contributed significantly to corporate development through her skills in real estate, finance, operations, marketing/sales, asset acquisition and team leadership. She also serves on Cabico’s advisory committee.
Investissement Groupe Champlain invests in the development and management of residences for seniors and active retirees. Development of the network is carried on under the Château Bellevue banner, which prides itself on creating unique living environments for Québec seniors. Commencing operations in Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce in 2006, Groupe Château Bellevue now has eight complexes for autonomous and semi-autonomous residents in various regions of Québec, including Chaudière-Appalaches, Capitale-Nationale, Montérégie, Bas-Saint-Laurent and Mauricie. With 1,576 units, Groupe Château Bellevue is among the ten largest owner-managers of private residences for seniors in Québec. The business has nearly 300 employees.
Philippe Geffroy appointed to the Boad of Directors of Liberty Spring
Philippe Geffroy has extensive expertise in the automobile manufacturing sector where, in addition to holding key positions at Ford France and Nissan in Europe and Mexico, he has been president of several major sector companies during his career, such as Mazda France and Ford Sweden. He has also served on CSIAM’s board of directors (Chambre syndicale internationale de l’automobile et du motocycle).
Founded in 1986, Liberty Springs designs and assembles complex, high value-added precision springs for the automotive industry and for the recreational and off-road vehicle sector. Canada’s leading manufacturer, the Montmagny-based company has more than 700 employees at five different production sites, including more than 450 employees in Québec. Over two-thirds of production is exported.
