Thierry Lachapelle appointed to the Boad of Directors of Groupe Industries Fournier

With nearly 20 years of experience in market analysis and distribution strategy, Thierry Lachapelle oversees operations at two international manufacturing companies. Until March 2020, he was Senior Vice-President of AGF Access Group Inc., where his responsibilities chiefly included sales and marketing. 

Founded in 1960, Fournier Industries Group develops and markets equipment and integrated solutions for the fields of mining, hydroelectricity and heavy industry. In addition to the installation and maintenance of equipment, the company stands out for its international development as well as for the quality and excellence of its equipment and integrated services for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
The company has nearly 400 employees at its various sites.

Jean Gaudreault appointed to the Boad of Directors of J.L. Leclerc et fils inc.

Since 1996, Jean Gaudreault has been President of Garant GP, a leading Canadian manufacturer and marketer of non-power tools for gardening, snow removal, agriculture and construction. Garant is an employer of choice that values innovation. In addition to being an experienced entrepreneur, Jean Gaudreault brings with him extensive expertise in operational efficiency.

Founded in 1988, J.L. Leclerc & fils offers engineering, design and production services, as well as the assembly of parts and mechanically welded products for the transportation, energy and custom vehicle bodywork industries. The business employs more than 140 people at its five locations, and mainly serves clients in Canada. Headquartered in St-Antoine-de-Tilly, J.L. Leclerc & fils has production plants in Laurier-Station and Ste-Croix-de-Lotbinière.

 

Richard Guimont appointed to the Boad of Directors of J.L. Leclerc et fils inc.

A lawyer by training, Richard Guimont has over 35 years’ experience as an entrepreneur. Currently President of Industries Guimont Inc., Richard served as President of Ressorts Liberté from 1998 to 2019 and is now Chair of its Board of Directors. He also sat on the Board of the Spring Manufacturers Institute.
