George Jeffrey appointed to the Boad of Directors of Groupe Korok

George Jeffrey is a senior executive in the restaurant and agri-food industry with extensive expertise in operations management and business development. Having held several executive leadership roles at Parmalat Canada and Pizza Pizza, as well as of the title of President International of Quiznos in Denver, Colorado, George served on the board of directors of Restaurants Canada from 2013 to 2018.

The Groupe Korok encompasses three brands of equipment: Sipromac, Hot Rocks and Picard Ovens who have been in business for over 60 years. Manufactured in Drummondville, Quebec each brand is well known in their respective markets: Sipromac for vacuum packaging & food processing, Hot Rocks for pizza ovens and Picard Ovens for bakery and rotisserie.

Hélène Laroche appointed to the Boad of Directors of Perron Telecom

Hélène Laroche Hélène Laroche is a seasoned manager with more than 25 years’ experience in management, in addition to having led a group of five production facilities. A former member of Rio Tinto’s management team, Hélène was also general manager of Saguenay-based Devinci Bicycles. Combining extensive experience in finance with expertise in operations management, Hélène serves on the boards of directors of Université de Québec à Chicoutimi and Grand défi Pierre Lavoie.

With its innovative vision and advanced technological research, this Alma-based company has set itself apart as a leader in its field. Sylvain Toutant appointed to the Boad of Directors of Voie Maltée Holding

Sylvain Toutant is a senior executive with extensive expertise in the agri-food industry, and more specifically, in the beverage sector. Throughout his career, Sylvain has helped drive growth for sector businesses in both North America and Europe. 

Established in August 2017, La Voie Maltée Holding is the latest addition to the La Voie Maltée Group, which consists of 6 businesses including a microbrewery with a selection of beers available at 1,200 points of sale across Quebec and five restaurants/pubs located in Chicoutimi, Jonquière and Quebec City. The La Voie Maltée group employs 360 people, including a dozen at La Voie Maltée Holding.
