Larry Karass Couturier appointed to the Boad of Directors of Dose.

A business strategist and polyglot, Larry Karass has over 30 years’ experience in national and international business development, ensuring sound governance of companies and non-profit organizations. As a leader, he has propelled the growth of companies in the food, natural products and industrial packaging sectors.

 

Founded in 2013, Dose creates and markets cold pressed juices, organic smoothies and nut milks distributed in leading supermarket chains in Québec and Ontario. The company’s products are also available online. Headquartered in Saint-Hyacinthe, Dose has about 30 employees. 

Véronique Tougas appointed to the Boad of Directors of SJM Group

A trained accountant holding the CPA and CMA designations, Véronique Tougas is President of Cambli Group, a Canadian manufacturer of armoured vehicules. In addition to her deep financial expertise, Ms. Tougas has acquired rich experience in operations management and serves on the boards of directors of NexDev and InnoSecur.

Founded in 1978, SJM Group is a consortium of well-established Québec manufacturers specializing in such areas as the production of commercial equipment and heavy-duty storage systems (display shelving, industrial storage, etc.):

  • Étalex inc. — Food industry and retail chain specialist
  • Équipement Boni Inc. — Hardware store and drugstore specialist
  • Produits de Fil et Métal Forma Fil inc. — manufacturer of wire mesh decking and heavy-duty storage system accessories.

Robert de Montigny appointed to the Boad of Directors of Poitras Foundry.

Robert de Montigny is a senior executive with experience gained across multiple sectors, in particular, office furniture and supplies, and parts for the automotive industry. As Executive Vice President of Uni-Select – Palmar, he drove business growth by diversifying the product offering. As President of Novexco, Mr. de Montigny grew the company to become the third-largest pan-Canadian distributor of workplace supplies. He has served on several corporate and not-for-profit boards of directors.

Created in 1920, Poitras Foundry manufactures ductile iron automobile transmission components for a very recognized and diversified clientele in Quebec, the United States and internationally. The l’Islet company distinguishes itself with a particular affinity for technological innovation, giving it a place of choice among the world leaders in the field. The state-of-the art technology company employs nearly 150 people.
