Claude Carbonneau appointed to the Boad of Directors of Coopérative nationale de l'information indépendante (CN2i)

Claude Carbonneau has over 30 years of experience in cooperatives and the social economy. With extensive experience in cooperative governance having served on several boards of directors as a director and chair, Mr. Carbonneau is currently a member of the boards of directors of the Coopérative des techniciens ambulanciers du Québec and the CIRIEC.

Founded in 2019, The Coopérative nationale de l’information indépendante (CN2i) is the union of the six solidarity cooperatives that publish regional medias Le Soleil (Quebec), Le Droit (Gatineau-Ottawa) Le Nouvelliste (Trois-Rivières), Le Quotidien (Saguenay-Lac -Saint-Jean), La Tribune (Sherbrooke), and La Voix de l'Est (Granby).
The Coopérative employs 300 people.

Ghyslain Rivard appointed to the Boad of Directors of Action SST inc. and Élite Management SST

Ghyslain Rivard has more than 35 years of experience in the IT and business services sector.

Action SST offers its clients specialized occupational health and safety management support services for industrial, commercial and residential sites. Founded in 1998, the company provides personnel placement services in occupational health and safety prevention, and carries out site management and audits.
Action SST and its sister company, Elite Management, presently employ about ten people.

Élite Management SST helps customers and their subcontractors optimize their occupational health and safety due diligence while generating productivity gains. Founded in 2014, the company achieves this goal with its certification and project management solution, which has been tried and tested on construction, maintenance and repair projects, from construction sites to industry and within organizations.

Richard Guimont appointed to the Boad of Directors of Versaprofiles Products

A lawyer by training, Richard Guimont has over 35 years’ experience as an entrepreneur. Currently President of Industries Guimont Inc., Richard served as President of Ressorts Liberté from 1998 to 2019 and is now Chair of its Board of Directors. He also sat on the Board of the Spring Manufacturers Institute.

Founded in 2011, Versaprofiles Products manufactures a variety of PVC and polyethylene pipes and tubing for the liquids, solids and gas transportation markets, geothermal and maple products industries, as well as specialized engineered custom shapes for a wide range of customers. With over 50 years of experience in thermoplastic extrusion, the company is currently the largest supplier of geothermal loops in Canada and for the natural gas distribution sector.

During peak periods, the company has a headcount of close to 140 at its two sites in Saint-Lazare-de-Bellechasse and Sainte-Claire.
