Luc Ménard joined Desjardins in 2001 as an investment and telecommunications manager, later becoming an IT and telecommunications manager and then a vice-president.
Until August 2016, Luc was the Senior Vice-President, Investments. In that position he led a team of established professionals across Quebec specializing in company buyouts, growth capital, business transfers and cooperative development and growth. As COO, one of his key roles is to manage the Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins fund.

Luc has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Université de Sherbrooke and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from Queen’s University. He currently sits on a number of boards of directors.
