Gaétan Desrosiers

Having joined Desjardins Capital in 2015 as investment manager, Gaétan is now Associate Vice-President, Valuation Strategy and Operational Management. His role is to follow up with investment managers and serve as the operating authority. His other responsibilities include completing feedback loops to measure the degree of satisfaction and better understand the needs of our business partners.

Gaétan also handles a portfolio of companies in various industries, primarily traditional sectors such as distribution, manufacturing and residential construction.

Gaétan has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Université Laval.

The story that inspires me is the story of Alimentation Couche-Tard co-founder Alain Bouchard, someone with real drive who jumped into the field and succeeded in creating a leading international company through a number of well-integrated acquisitions and his ability to communicate his vision to his team.
