Éric Veilleux

Before joining the Desjardins Capital team in 2016, Éric Veilleux worked at Investissement Québec - Société générale de financement du Québec (IQ) for 15 years where he held various positions, including Senior Manager, Investment Support and Monitoring and Senior Manager, Investment Monitoring and Due Diligence. During that time he helped drive investments in a number of successful ventures led by Quebec companies in various sectors. He was also instrumental in the divestiture and sale of numerous businesses.

Éric was also a member of 20 boards of directors of private and public Quebec companies. Prior to 2001, he worked for eight years for two international chartered accounting firms in financial advisory and audit services.

He acts as an advisor to entrepreneurs looking to sell, transfer, acquire or expand a business and develops financing strategies as part of Desjardins Capital’s mandate.

Qualifications

Éric graduated from Université du Québec à Montréal with a degree in accounting. He is a member of Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec.
